I hold an Electronic Engineering degree from one of the first electronic schools in the US back when solid- state was first getting started in the industry. Then i attended North Caroline State College and got my liberal arts along with Mechanical Engineer and Electrical Engineer.
My first job was building a radio station on the campus of NCS while attending school. Then I joined the engineering group that designed the GPS system in the early 60's, along with getting the satilities ready to get up. Worked the submarines for the GPS installation and testing. In 65. I joined NASA and the Apollo program as one of the eight System Engineers for the whole Apollo program. My system was the communication system, but this system interlocked with all the other seven systems. So I had to know just about everything in all systems. Under my command, all system design, manufacture, install, individual testing, system testiing and finally space vehicle testing with the rest of system came under my command.
From there, I have worked on F-111, F-14, and F-15 aircraft electronic control design. The final engineering project was the AWAC aircraft as we know it today. Finally I left engineering as there were no major projects going in the country since then. I joined a family appliance business and have been serving the Northern Neck of Virginia in 12 counties doing service work.
In 2010 I pullled by trucks off the road as by then we were serving 22 counties and gas was killing us. Now I have a large amount of parts for all these brands and I feel America needs help by purchasing these parts at a budget price inorder to keep the family going.
